Bocker is a certified therapy dog with Therapy Dogs International and also a Tail Wagging Tutor.  This program has gone nationwide and has motivated students to increase their reading skills.  Some have joined the program to improve upon their reading skills and also to gain confidence and self-esteem.    A side benefit of the program is to encourage children to be responsible and loving towards animals. Even as a very young pup, Bocker the Labradoodle pondered on where his life would lead, what was his purpose in life.   Plain and simple, Bocker makes everyone happy. He seems to light up a room just by being there. Though well known for commercial cameos and modeling in ads for such companies as Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Barney’s, Target and Chase Bank among many others, much of Bocker’s energy is devoted to animal welfare, particularly promoting adoption. Bocker’s involvement with animal related causes has become the main focus of his life. In particular, Bocker has worked closely with various animal rescue organizations including: Best Friends Animal Society, SPCA of Westchester, North Shore Animal League America, Sean Casey Animal Rescue,  and Last Chance Animal Rescue. Bocker played a large role in raising awareness for the New Rochelle Humane Society’s Centennial Celebration in June, which raised $110,000 for shelter programs and services supporting homeless, lost and abused animals.

As a certified therapy dog, Bocker is also committed to helping people, visiting both children and the elderly in hospitals. Largely due to such altruistic efforts, Bocker’s celebrity status is reflected on Facebook where between his two pages a combined 10,000-plus friends and fans show their support.

About B0cker
My name is Bocker. I am a labradoodle. My father, Bailey, was a tan standard poodle and my mom, Missy, was a black lab. I was born on July 11, 2003. I am one lucky doodle and am having a very exciting life. I live in New York but have friends all over the world. How did I get my name..Well, my mom grew up being a New York Knickerbocker fan. She rescued a cat and named her Knicki. So when I came along, Bocker just seemed to fit perfectly.
